Equitopia Members’ Academy!

We know you’re busy, so we want to make it easy for you to stay on top of your learning!

Here you will find a variety of resources sorted in ‘tracks’ and in a logical order, so you don’t get lost in a sea of information.

Discover videos, blog posts, podcasts, webinar recordings, and research articles that you can view at your own pace – you decide how much time you can spend learning each day!

Also, as you move through the sections of the academy,  you will unlock discounts on relevant courses and  earn certificates and electronic badges that you can share with your employer and on social media so that there is no doubt that you are an advocate for your horse’s welfare while also pursuing excellence in equestrianism.

Here are our top tips for getting off to a good start

Learn in your own time

This is a self-paced learning experience which means you keep progressing in your knowledge with the flexibility of checking in and out whenever it suits you.

Don’t pressure yourself

Whenever you find a section that requires more time than you have available – just do as much as you can, and pick it up again when you can – this is not a problem – in fact, it’s supposed to work that way.

Take notes!

We recommend that you take notes as you go – either on the downloadable Equitopia journal that you will find in the ‘materials’ tab in the first topic of each track – or your own notebook. This will greatly help you to retain what you learn, and will be a fantastic reference resource for you.

Press Pause!

Get into the habit of pressing pause when watching videos or webinar recordings. Re-watch sections you consider important – this is how online learning is supposed to work!

Enjoy your rewards!

Every so often, we will reward your efforts by unlocking discounts on relevant Equitopia courses and cool eco-friendly t-shirts and other Equitopia goodies.

Build a learning routine

Remember that the most important thing about succeeding in progressing in your knowledge, is to get into the routine of learning – whether it is 5 minutes per day or 1 hour per day – it doesn’t matter – the important thing is to keep moving forward.

Find a Buddy

Start this journey with a friend!! Tell one of your Equitopia member friends or colleagues that you are doing this. Having someone to do the activities with will keep your motivation strong and allow you to have in-depth discussions with someone who is on the same path as you.
