Why did you join Equitopia?
I joined at the start of COVID. I really enjoy learning and as an equine bodyworker and taper, have always looked for continuing education opportunities.
What do you enjoy most about Equitopia?
Great content, diverse, it is affordable, ethical and accessible.
What do you love most about horsemanship?
Horsemanship is about the love of the animal over the love of the sport. There is a saying I love; ” the greatest gift we can give a horse is to train them well”.
Who inspires you – and why?
I am a huge fan of Jec Aristotle Ballou. I appreciate her as she is very practical (use what you have).
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
I collect antique radios, all of my radios work and my oldest one is from 1928.
What’s your favorite book?
The Octopus and the Orangutan by Eugene Linden.

If you were told you could say 1 thing that the entire horse world would act on, what would that be?
Just 1? I have 3. 1. There is no such thing as saddle that fits every horse. 2. Be your horse’s advocate. 3. Be kinder to each other.
