The February clinic will take place form the 14th to the 16th in Thornton Ca, from 9 am to 5 pm . Each day the clinic will start off with a lecture, followed by practical work with horses. At the
end of the clinic each horse will receive a written evaluation from each of the professionals and homework until the next clinic.
Our experts:
Day 1 (Thursday, 14th of February):
9.00-10.00: Coffee and introduction talk
What to expect from the clinic, introducing the experts and a short explanation of healthy biomechanics of the horse under saddle.
10.00-13.00: Initial assessment of the horses
Each horse goes through four different stations and is assessed from four different perspectives.
13.00-14.30: Lunch break and summary
After lunch, the experts will give a summary for each of the horses, including the most important finds and a plan for the following two days
14.30-17.00: Practical work with horses
The horses are worked with according to their needs, but will most likely follow the scheme below.
Day 2 (Friday, 15th of February):
9.00-10.00: Coffee and thermography lecture
Discussing the role of thermography in training/rehabilitation + case studies.
10.00-13.00: Practical work with horses
The work with the horses will depend on the plan that the experts made on day 1. Whether the work will consist of lunge work or riding depends on each individual horse. Some horses might need additional bodywork, saddle fit or shoeing consultation at this stage.
13.00-14.30 Lunch break and summary
A short summary of the work for each horse is presented to the participants.
14.30-17.00: Practical work with the horses

Day 3 (Saturday, 16th of February):
9.00-10.00: Coffee and lecture
The third lecture will consist of caste studies of successful rehabilitation cases that our experts worked with.
10.00-13.00: Practical work with the horses
The work with the horses on the third day will consist of a shorter session and the work will depend on the individual horse.
13.00-14.30: Lunch break and summary
A short summary of the work we did in the three days for each horse is presented to the participants.
14.30-17.00 Homework and feedback
Instructions for further work (training, bodywork, feet, saddle fit and other areas) are given to the participants.
